The most northern of Burgundy, the vineyard of Yonne must be visited. You will discover an amazing range of wines, all different.
We will begin this day walking through the vine rows, sometimes very steep, which surround Chablis, where we will study the different seasons of the vine, the work of the men and the way to obtain the best grapes.
We will then go to the cellars, to meet men and women proud and passionate for their wine. You will discover their cellars, some of them a few centuries old, where tradition and technology meet.
The tasting will be a unique moment of sympathy, where you will enjoy the art of the wine grower.
It’s time for us to have lunch in one of the very good tables of Chablis, selected for his food and wine matching.
In the afternoon, our journey in an old fashion 2CV or a comfortable vehicle will lead us in the nearby villages, Saint Bris, Irancy, Coulanges or Epineuil. From vines to cellars, you will discover the diversity of the wines, with of course a stop in a cellar, symbol of its terroir. And we will end the day around a glass of wine.
Back to Chablis, you may walk in its streets or open the door of one of the famous traditional andouillette or biscuit producers.
